The LOTUS Collection, by Miller Yee Fong circa 1968, is noted for the marrying of modern form with “rustic materials,” such as wicker, to fit the sophisticated yet casual California lifestyle of the 1960s. The lines are both organic and sculptural.  The Lotus is on permanent loan to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as part of their collection of classic designs from the mid-century.
